Our Mutual Friend, published serially in 1864-5, is Dickens's last completed novel. Dickens once again hired the illustrator Marcus Stone who had engraved several illustrations for the 'Library Edition' (1862) of Dickens's previous novel, Great Expectations. The illustrations below are taken from the 'Biographical Edition' of Dickens's works (1902-1903) and reproduce Stone's original illustrations.
