The Library Edition of the Works of Charles Dickens was published in 1910 by the Educational Book Company Ltd. and was edited by J.A. Hammerton. It features 500 illustrations by Harry Furniss, who Hammerton described as 'with the single exception of Phiz, it may be said, without exageration, that the work of all these illustrators of Dickens pales before the unique achievement of Mr. Harry Furniss'.
